在生活中，由于家中貧困的原因，學費險些貸款，自己也是盡量保持節儉，努力去做一些兼職以減輕父母的負擔。

學校社團活動中我積極參加，在春風社活動中，獲“志愿者之星”，作為團員，也獲得優秀共青團。

在生活中，由于家里貧困的原因，自己也是盡量的在開銷方面能有所節省，對于像電腦等方面的東西都沒有購買。

“屋漏偏逢連陰雨”，下崗多年一直靠在外打工維持家用、供我讀書的父親又積勞成疾，住進了醫院，光是醫藥費就花光了家里所有的積蓄，現在家里已經是債臺高筑，家徒四壁了。面對這個禍不單行的殘酷現實，我差點輟學，要不是全靠家里的親戚們接濟勉強湊夠了上學的費用，說不定我早已瞞著白發蒼蒼、生病多年的母親獨自踏上了南下的列車，開始一種前途莫測的打工生活了。
